Oakton HDPE Replacement Membrane, For Dissolved Oxygen Probe (Pack of 5)

The Oakton 35640-74 is a pack of five pre-assembled, replacement probe maintenance membranes made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) material for strength. A probe maintenance membrane assembly, or kit, is used when the electrolyte solution in a probe’s cap evaporates and needs replacement. The kit provides new components to assist in electrolyte solution replacement during dissolved oxygen (DO) measurement in field and lab applications. Each of the probe maintenance membrane assemblies has a membrane lock to secure the membrane and O-ring, and comes with an O-ring for clean sealing. The cap is used to refill with electrolyte and to secure the mechanism. The assembly has a screw-in mechanism for simplified use.

The 35640-74 consists of five mechanisms. Each comes with a preassembled membrane, membrane lock, O-ring, and cap. They are used with probes for Oakton DO 110, DO 300 and DO 600 meters (sold separately).

Dissolved oxygen probes are used in a variety of applications to assist in monitoring the amount of oxygen present in water. Applications include sewage and water treatment plants, pollution control, fish farms, and various types of manufacturing. They are commonly used in hydroponics, aquaculture, education, and research to measure water quality.
