Fowler 54-866-001 Quadramic Electronic 4-way Reading Micrometer, 0-1"/0-25mm Measuring Range, 0.00005"/0.001mm Resolution, RS-232 Output

The Fowler 54-866-001 Quadramic digital outside micrometer has two LCDs for four-way viewing, a 0 to 1"/0 to 25mm measuring range, and a flat anvil/spindle pair for general purpose measuring. Two LCDs can be viewed from upright or inverted from the front or back. A switchable resolution of 0.00005" and 0.001mm provides precise readings. Carbide measuring faces provide durability and wear resistance. A friction thimble provides smooth and quiet operations, and is suitable for one-handed operation. Friction-style thimbles stop turning when the spindle comes into contact with the workpiece, providing constant force for consistent measurements between operators. The housing is Ingress Protection (IP) certified IP54 for protection against dust and water.

The LCD has a hold feature that saves the reading for recording. Absolute measurements provide the total dimension of the workpiece. An automatic shut-off feature extends battery life. RS-232 output transfers data to a computer (cable not included). The micrometer requires a CR2032 battery (included), and includes a wrench and a fitted case.
