Standard Gage 01664002 Magnetic Stand with Articulated Arm for Dial Gauge and Comparator, 280mm Arm length
The Standard Gage 01664002 Magnetic Stand has a fixed post and an articulating boom arm with a fixing bore diameter of 8 mm for holding dial gauges and comparators, and a magnetic base that adheres to metal surfaces with approximately 450 N of holding force and has a V-groove for mounting to cylindrical surfaces. The articulating arm has a ball swivel joint for positioning of gauges and comparators, and has a dovetail clamp. A switch allows the magnetic force to be turned on and off to aid positioning. The maximum extended length of the arm and post is 280 mm. The stand weighs 1.5 kg. Standard Gage manufactures precision measuring equipment and metrology hand tools.
