Winters SSN Series Water Stainless Steel 316 Snubber, 20000 psi, 1/2" NPT Male x 1/2" NPT Female

The Winters SSN series stainless steel 316 snubber has a sintered, porous stainless steel 316 snubbing element, a male x female connection, comes in three standard viscosity classifications, and operates in pressures up to 20,000 psi (413,700 kPa). The snubber is stainless steel for operating in corrosive, high pressure, and high temperature environments. The sintered, porous 316 stainless steel snubbing element has a large surface area to ensure long-term effectiveness. The snubber is available in the three standard viscosity classifications of heavy oil, water, and air. The male x female connection is either a 1/4" or 1/2" NPT (National Pipe Thread) rate. The burst pressure is 60,000 psi (413,700 kPa). The working pressure is a maximum of 20,000 psi (137,900 kPa). The operating temperature is -320 to 1,500 degrees F (-195 to 815 degrees C). This snubber suppress the effects of pressure pulses and pressure peaks to lessen the damaging effects of pulsation on gauges, transducers, transmitters, manometers, and pressure switches.

All types of pressure gauges include either a male or a female mount to connect to the vessel where pressure is being measured, and display results on a dial with varying increments of measure across a given range.
