Made of hardened steel with a Satin Chrome finish, it is precision ground and lapped to ensure that the edges are straight and parallel. All edges have true right angles. One edge of the straightedge is beveled with precision engraved, US Standard graduations 4R scale, Packaged in a sturdy, protective plastic sleeve.
