What Does The Detector Do?

This non-contact detector is CE approved and provides fast and accurate result by placing it within a range of 1 cm of the live electric wire.

It detects neutral wire and live wire and uses the measurement category CAT III with a sensitivity range of 90-1000 VAC.

By pressing the power button, the tip will light up and you will hear a notification sound which means the detector is ready to use, after placing the detector within a range of 1 cm of the live wire, you will get a quick and accurate result, also the higher the voltage is, the higher the frequency of the flash and notification sound will be.

For your convenience in illuminating the workspace, by pressing the power button repeatedly you can switch the light of the tip on or off. Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds, a notification sound will be heard twice and the detector turns off.

Please carry out a function test before each usage of the detector by using it on a good known circuit to ensure the tester is functional working. If the light or buzzer is faint, make sure to replace the batteries.
