Groz 01473 Outside Caliper 8" (200mm) are equipped with adjustable knurled thumb screw. These calipers were designed for reliable, accurate layout and measurement jobs to take comparative measurements when used with a micrometer. These are used by toolmakers and all mechanics who require finer adjustment and better balance measuring tool. These are for measuring outside dimensions. Manufactured from high grade steel, the legs are machined to a smooth taper. Fulcrum stud has a large bearing surface preventing side deflection of legs. Divider points are hardened 50-55 HRC for increased wear resistance
