Mitutoyo 124-173 Gear Tooth Micrometer, Ratchet Stop, 0-25mm Range, 0.01mm Graduation, +/-0.004mm Accuracy

The Mitutoyo 124 series gear tooth micrometer has a vernier scale in metric units for taking precise outside diameter (OD) measurements, and is for use with interchangeable ball-tipped anvil and spindle faces for measuring over-pin diameter of gears (sold separately). It also has a ratchet-stop mechanism for uniform pressure during adjustment.

The micrometer’s frame has a baked enamel finish for protection and durability. The vernier scale on the thimble and sleeve is graduated to 0.01mm, and has a satin chrome rust- and glare-resistant finish. Separate spindle and anvil locks help provide secure locking of the measurement position. The micrometer comes with a fitted case for storage.
