Mitutoyo 147-401 Wire Micrometer, Ratchet Stop, 0-10mm Range, 0.01mm Graduation, +/-0.003mm Accuracy

The Mitutoyo 147-401 outside micrometer has a vernier scale in metric units for measuring wire thickness and the outside diameter (OD) of small balls. A ratchet-stop mechanism provides uniform pressure during adjustment. The micrometer frame has a baked enamel finish for protection and durability. The vernier scale on the thimble has a satin chrome rust- and glare-resistant finish, a 0 to 10mm measuring range with 0.01mm graduations, and an accuracy of + or - 0.003mm. The spindle and anvil have flat measuring faces that are carbide-tipped for wear resistance.
