The Dwyer Series 478A digital manometer provides positive, negative, and differential pressure measurements, and is used to perform single-pressure measurements and to set supply pressures, verify pressure switch operation, adjust regulators, check pneumatic systems, and computer peripherals. The meter is suitable for use with air and compatible gases, and has an accuracy of + or - 1.5% of full scale. The extruded aluminum case provides durability. The four-digit LCD displays the pressure measurement. The zero function nulls minor pressure differences before measuring, min/max display provides comparative data, and display hold retains last reading when the display cannot be seen during testing. They are used in laboratory, medical equipment, engineering, automotive, and heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning applications. Manometers measure any combination of gauge, absolute, or differential pressures. Gauge pressure is the amount of pressure in a system relative to the ambient pressure, absolute pressure is the amount of pressure in a system relative to an absolute vacuum, and differential pressure is the difference between two pressures. Analog manometers are composed of columns of liquid, and they use gravity and the liquid's density to calculate pressure. Because they have no moving part...

Model: 1227
Use Series 1227 as a regular U-tube manometer to read high-range pressure on the right leg, or as an inclined manometer to read low-range pressure on the bottom leg. Simply incline manometer until fluid levels read zero. No spirit level required. Magnetic clips hold the gage in position on a steel duct surface. Most versatile and useful low cost manometer we know of. Designed for installation and servicemen. A sturdy, clear plastic manometer, it offers single, direct readings in two ranges: As a U-tube, it reads from 0 to 16" of water; as an inclined gage, it reads from -.20 to 0 to 2.6" of water. Model 1227M (Metric) is 0 to 400 mm water column as a U-tube and -5 to 0 to 70 mm water column as an inclined gage. "How-to-use" instructions are printed directly on the scale.

The Dwyer Mark II 40-1-AV inclined differential manometer with red gauge fluid has a 0.1-0-1.1 inH2O measuring range, built in zero level and molded plastic case for monitoring air velocity and air filter performance, and taking pressure measurements above and below atmospheric pressure. Red gauge fluid is freeze-proof and has lower evaporation rate for use in cold environments, and produces expanded scale viewing for improved reading resolution. The built-in zero level provides linear calibration. The manometer has a styrene-acrylonitrile housing, indicating tube, and fluid wells for strength and durability. The molded ABS knobs and zero adjust plunger and shock-mounted glass level vial are wear-resistant. Leakproof O-ring seals and float-operated overflow traps reduce the risk of fluid loss. Scales are lithograph printed on aluminum to ease reading, and are epoxy coated to protect against wear. The manometer can be mounted on any vertical surface using the mounting holes or set on any horizontal surface using the included stand.
