All surfaces except the “V” are square and parallel with each other within .002”. V-grooves are square and parallel with all surfaces within .0035”. Dimensions are 1-1/2” (38 mm) square x 2” (50 mm) long. Work capacity is approximately 1-1/2” (40 mm) diameter. V-blocks are small part work holders. They are held in place with the assistance of a clamp. The grove allows a channel for the clamp to hold down the part being measured or modified.
