3B Scientific U22050 Goniometer-Type Spectrometer, 0 to 360 Degree Angular Scale, 0.5 Minutes of Arc Resolution

The 3B Scientific U22050 goniometer-type spectrometer has a flint glass prism to provide students with hands-on experience observing and measuring light spectra. The spectrometer has a 300 lines/mm transmission grating, 0 to 360 degree angular scale with 0.5 degree divisions, and a vernier scale of 0.5 minutes of arc. The spectrometer has a rotatable prism or grating and directionally-adjustable objective tube for observing and measuring emission and absorption spectra and precise determination of the optical parameters of prisms or gratings. The objective tube has adjustable slit width, an object distance of f = 175mm, and a 32mm diameter. The eyepiece tube has continuous focusing, and a viewing angle-adjustable eyepiece with a cross-wire of f = 175mm and a 32mm diameter. The spectrometer weighs 12kg and is 11.5 x 18.5 x 21.5 inches (H x W x D, where H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back). Includes prism with holder and transmission grating with holder.
