Thermo Scientific Orion AQ7000 AquaMate 7000 Visible-Light Spectrophotometer, 325 to 1100nm Wavelength Range, 5.0nm Spectral Bandwidth, Tungsten-Halogen Lamp, 100/240VAC
The Thermo Scientific AQ7000 Orion 7000 AquaMate visible-light spectrophotometer has a 325 to 1100nm wavelength range, a 5.0nm spectral bandwidth, and a tungsten-halogen lamp, and is used for water and wastewater analysis. The instrument includes more than 260 preprogrammed methods stored on a USB memory stick using Orion AQUAfast, Merck, CHEMetrics or Hach chemistries. The memory stick allows operators to load on the instrument only the required methods, and to add or remove methods as needed. The 5.0nm bandwidth is used for routine quality control measurements when high resolution is not required. The tungsten-halogen lamp and single detector support routine measurements in the visible range. The three-cell holder includes one adjustable holder for 13 to 25mm round vials, one holder for 20 or 50mm rectangular vials, and one holder for 10mm square vials. The instrument has three USB ports, for connection to a USB stick (included), or computer or printer (sold separately).
H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back. A spectrophotometer is a device used to measure and analyze aspects of light absorption in liquids and solids. Readings are displayed in digital or analog format. A spectrophotometer can have a handheld body for field use, or a bench-top body for laboratory applications. It may have one or more adapters to enable it to measure surfaces or liquids. A spectrophotometer is used for testing and measuring in anatomy, chemistry, agriculture, process plant, food and beverage making, homeland security, and educational applications. Thermo Fisher Scientific manufactures analytical instruments, laboratory equipment, consumables, and software under the Thermo Scientific, Fisher Scientific, Barnstead, Nalgene, and Orion brands, among others. The company is headquartered in Waltham, MA. What's in the Box?
