A viscometer measures the torque required to reach a certain speed. This rotational viscometer uses the spring system and dial reader to obtain accurate viscosity results for your lab or business. The synchronous motor rotates with a stable rate, connects to the scale disk through the hairspring and rotating shaft. This drives the rotor to rotate. The rotors are subject to torque proportional to the liquid's viscosity because of the liquid viscose hysteresis. The torque is measured by the sensors and processed into the viscosity then shown on the display. The viscometer is a dependable option for all your quality control needs.

To find the absolute viscosity, plug the rotor number and speed into the reference chart to get your coefficient. Multiply the viscometer results by the coefficient to get the absolute viscosity.
