Extech MG500 Digital High Voltage Insulation Tester

The MG500 is a CAT III-300V insulation tester capable of performing voltage tests up to 10 kilovolts (500 volts to 10 adjustable in 500 volts steps), with insulation resistance from 800 k to 500 GΩ (autoranging) plus, polarization index (PI) measurement and dielectric absorption ratio (DAR) measurement. The MG500’s EnerSave function limits test duration to 10 seconds to conserve battery power.

Comes complete with built-in heavy duty carrying case, test leads, alligator clips, eight C-size batteries, and user manual.
