Hioki 3143 Earth HiTester, 500 Ohms Resistance, 10V Voltage, 3.6mA AC Current

The Hioki 3143 Earth HiTester performs 3-point ground resistance testing that does not require auxiliary ground rods and is suitable for a wide variety of urban environments, even on concrete or asphalt roads. The tester uses the voltage comparison method, which measures the loop impedance of the closed path that goes from the lead wire to earth and then back to a return line strung along the surface. The tester eliminates the need to place and set up auxiliary ground rods. Ground-resistance meters are used by electricians and contractors working in industrial, utility, and field servicing.

The large, easy to read four-digit LCD screen makes it easy to see values and measurements in the field. The resonance indicator displays a bar graph that shows the approximate location of the resonance point. The energy-saving feature places the tester in standby mode and displays HOLD on the screen after three minutes of inactivity. To protect measurement accuracy, the battery light flashes when the power supply is low.

The Hioki 3143 tester comes with a 1m black measurement cable, 20m red cable, cable winder, and carrying case. The tester is CE marked, with safety ratings of EN61010, CAT I, and pollution degree 2.
