Labomed Spectro UV-2505 Spectrophotometer
The Labomed Spectro UV-2505 UV and visible-light spectrophotometer has a multi-cell receptacle to measure transmission, absorption, concentration, and factor for routine quantitative analysis in a range of applications and industries, including chemical, petrochemical, biochemical, agriculture, environmental protection, and education. The instrument has a 4nm spectral bandwidth and a 195 to 1,050nm wavelength range for use in the ultraviolet and visible-light spectral range. It has a 0 to 100%T transmittance range, 0.0000 to 2.0000A absorption range, and 0 to 1,999C concentration range. It has tungsten-halogen and deuterium lamps, a silicon photodiode detector for reduced noise, and a monochromator with a 1,200 lines/mm grating mirror. The instrument automatically calculates absorption, transmittance, factor, and concentration, and auto-zero and auto-calibration ensure consistent results. The spectrophotometer has a receptacle that accepts up to four 10 x 10mm square cuvettes and 13mm round test tubes (adapter sold separately). The LCD provides access to controls and test results, and the capacitive-touch buttons ease cleaning and prevent liquids from entering the device. An RS-232C interface enables data to be transferred to a computer (sold separately). The included UV-VIS software provides data analysis and long-term records retention, and is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7.
