The unit mounts anywhere with the suction cup on the back of the unit or with the provided Velcro mounting strips. The transparent LCD display shows has 0.5" digits for easy viewing. The thermometer is traceable to National Institute of Standards and Technology standards, indicating that it is calibrated to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 17025 levels.
