The Cooper-Atkins DPS300-01-8 pen-style dual-range digital thermometer with a swiveling head is used for monitoring temperature in food service applications. It measures temperature from -40 to +302 degrees F (-40 to +150 degrees C), with an accuracy of + or - 2 degrees F from 32 to 212 degrees F and + or - 4 degrees F outside this range. Its stainless-steel stem-style probe is 5" long and has a reduced penetration tip for taking measurements while immersed in liquid or air. The thermometer's head swivels 90 degrees in either direction for visibility when reading temperatures at any angle. The ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) plastic housing material has an anti-microbial additive to help deter bacterial growth. The unit operates on a single 1.5V battery, and turns off automatically after 10 minutes of non-use to conserve battery life. The European Conformity (CE) marking indicates compliance with applicable European Union (EU) directives, and it is compliant with Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) standards. It comes with a protective sheath with pocket clip, a battery, and instructions.SpecificationsTemperature measurement range-40 to +302 degrees F (-40 to +150 degrees C)Resolution0.1 degreeAccuracy+ or - 2 degrees F from 32 to 212 degrees F (1 degree C from 0 to 100 degrees C) and + or - 4 degrees F (2 degrees C) outside this rangeResponse timeLess than 18 secondsLCD size0.5 x 1 inches (12.7 x 25.4cm) (H x W)Standards metCE, RoHS, WEEEPower supply1.5V batteryWeight1oz.Dimensions with sheath5-3/4 x 1-3/4 x 7/8 inches (146 x 44 x 22mm) (H x W x D)H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.
