The Amprobe SM-CAL1 is a sound meter calibrator for maintaining the accuracy of a sound level meter. It fits sound meters with microphones that have a diameter of up to 1/2 inch. It produces two fixed sound level signals, 94 decibels (dB) and 114 dB, and has an output frequency of 1,000 hertz (Hz). The calibrator operates on a 9V battery (included), and a low-battery indicator shows when the unit's batteries need to be changed.
