The Dwyer Series 475 Mark III intrinsically-safe digital manometer provides positive, negative, and differential pressure measurements, and is used to perform field calibration, monitoring or troubleshooting HVAC systems, performing clean room inspections, air velocity monitoring, and natural gas appliance-line testing. The meter is FM-approved intrinsically safe for Class 1, Div. 1, Group A, B, C, D, T4 hazardous locations. It has an accuracy of + or - 0.5% of full scale at 60 to 78 degrees F, and + or - 1.5% full scale at 32 to 60 and 78 to 104 degrees F. The extruded aluminum case provides durability. The backlit four-digit LCD displays the pressure measurement. The zero function nulls minor pressure differences before measuring. Standard connections accept 1/8" or 3/16" inside diameter (ID) vinyl or rubber tubing. The meter is powered by a 9V battery (included) and automatically shuts off after 20 minutes to preserve battery life. The Dwyer Mark II wind speed indicator with weather-resistant ABS vane measures air velocity from 0 to 80mph and 1 to 12 Beaufort scale and has a built-in spirit level vial to maintain horizontal plane for accurate readings and a zero knob for resetting readings and ensuring proper filling of gauge fluid. The gauge fluid is red for distinct readings on the dual mph and Beaufort scale. The indicator is made of molded plastic to resist breakage and includes the vane, 50ft. of tubing, mounting hardware, a 3/4oz. bottle of gauge fluid, and instructions. It is 5-5/8 x 7-3/8 X 1-1/8 inches (H x W x D, where H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back). It is commonly used for weather monitoring. Anemometers, also called wind meters, measure air velocity and are most commonly used for weather monitoring to determine wind speed and for HVAC applications to determine air flow within ducts. In addition to air velocity, anemometers may measure wind direction, air pressure, air flow volume, air temperature, humidity, light, and other properties. The most common types of anemometer are cup, vane, hot-wire, and Pitot tube. Cup and vane anemometers calculate air velocity based on the number of rotations of the cups or vane. Hot-wire anemometers calculate air velocity by measuring the change in electrical resistance as air flow cools a heated wire. Pitot tube anemometers measure air pressure within a tube and calculate air velocity based on the difference in pressure between the air inside and outside of the tube. Many anemometers have digital readouts and can display air velocity readings in different units of measure, such as meters per second (m/s), feet per minute (ft./min. or fpm), knots, miles per hour (mph), and kilometers per hour (km/h). Dwyer Instruments manufactures measurement and control instruments, including pressure gauges, flow meters, level instrumentation, temperature instrum...

The Dwyer® Model 160G Averaging Air Flow Grid is a precision sensing instrument used to measure face air velocity on grills, diffusers, registers, exhaust hoods, coils, filters, dampers and similar restrictions. With its 16 sensing points, the 160G Air Flow Grid provides an average flow sensing area across its 16.5" length and width. Included color coded tubing connects to the integral barbed fittings, providing a Differential Pressure signal to a gage or manometer where the readings can be converted into a velocity or flow reading. The 160G comes standard with an 18" handle and two 17" extensions offering a maximum reach of approximately 52". The uniquely designed swivel and tightening nut allows the user to position the sensing grid at any angle for ease of use in hard to reach locations. Store in the separate UHH-C2 hard carrying case with foam cut-outs perfectly sized for the 160G, as well as various other instruments in the AQTI Air Quality Test Instruments line.
