The Laxco DSM-Cuvette cell-density meter has a 600nm wavelength single-beam LED light source to test for and measure yeast, E. coli, and bacterial cultures. The meter accepts micro-cuvette and 14 to 17mm sample tubes. The meter measures McFarland units, % transmission, and absorption in either single-measurement or time-lapse mode. Time-lapse testing enables users to take readings at specified time intervals, and graphing allows data points to be displayed in a graphical format.
