The YSI 601201 is a pH and oxygen reduction potential (ORP)/mV electrode for use with the YSI pH1200 benchtop meter and has a Bayonet Neill-Concelman (BNC) and 1m (3.3') cable. A pH electrode is commonly attached to a pH meter to measure the pH of a substance such as water, food, beer, or wine in lab, industrial, and food applications. This electrode has a BNC connector for tight cable connections and comes with a 1m (3.3') cable An electrode, also called a sensor or probe, is an instrument used with a meter to test and measure parameters of a substance. All electrodes are probes or sensors, but not all probes are electrodes or sensors. Probes, such as temperature probes, are used to penetrate a material for measurement. Common electrode types are pH, total dissolved solid (TDS), and ion selective electrode (ISE). Electrodes can be half-cell or full-cell (also called combination) types. They can be refillable or non-refillable. Housing material is typically glass or epoxy, and sensors are commonly made with stainless steel or a glass bulb. pH electrodes, which measure the pH of a substance, often have a glass bulb. The bulb senses hydrogen ions, and generates a millivoltage that is picked up by the filling solution and transferred to a wire that connects to the pH meter. Ion selective electrodes (ISEs) respond selectively to ions in the presence of other ions. Electrodes are commonly used by researchers, manufacturers, and hobbyists in a wide variety of industries, such as aquaculture, agriculture, chemistry, food and beverage, wine-making and water-testing, and for scientific applications. An electrode can be used with a datalogger to assist in temperature measurement.Hanna Instruments manufactures analytical instrumentation and supplies, including pH meters, electrodes, chemical reagents, and buffer solutions. The company, founded in 1978 and headquartered in Woonsocket, RI, meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard 9001.What’s in the Box? YSI 601201 electrode1m (3.3') cable

The Hanna Instruments HI 73127 is a replacement pH electrode for Hanna pHep 4, pHep 5, and Combo testers and has an extendable cloth junction and a stainless steel round connector. A pH electrode is commonly attached to a pH meter to measure the pH of a substance such as water, food, beer, or wine in lab, industrial, and food applications. This electrode has an extendable cloth junction to prolong electrode life. The stainless steel round connector eliminates bent or broken pins during electrode replacement. The electrode works with the HI 98127, HI 98128, HI 98121, HI 98129, and HI 98130 testers. The ASI R035-0001 is a combination ORP electrode with a 1 meter coaxial cable and BNC connector. This polycarbonate body electrode is ideal for all applications. With its fiber tip junction this electrode operates in the +/- 1999 mV range and from 0 to 60 degrees C. ORP electrodes are used for measuring the oxidation-reduction reaction of various substances. Constructed of glass or epoxy or polycarbonate bodies, these reliable tools measure millivolts generated by various chemicals that is transferred across the fill solution to a metallic wire that connects to a millivolt meter. The meter in turn reads the millivolts as an ORP value.

The Hanna Instruments HI 5311 electrode is a silver/silver chloride (Ag/AgCl) double-junction half-cell reference electrode for use with half-cell measuring electrodes (sold separately) in titration and other water testing applications. Titration is the gradual adding of measured amounts of a substance with an unknown concentration into another substance with a known concentration until the reaction between them is complete. The double-junction reference protects against silver wire contamination and helps prevent clogging when testing dirty water and solutions with heavy metals or organics. The electrode has a ceramic junction for durability in demanding applications. Its glass body withstands corrosive materials and solvents, and is refillable, allowing the filling solution composition to be adjusted to suit the sample requirements. It withstands temperatures from -5 to 100 degrees C (23 to 212 degrees F). The electrode is 120mm long and has a 1m cable with a 4mm banana jack connector for attaching to compatible meters. Reference electrodes are used in conjunction with measuring, also known as indicating, electrodes to complete electrochemical cells so that measurements can be made. An electrode, also called a sensor or probe, is an instrument used with a meter to test and measure parameters of a substance. All electrodes are probes or sensors, but not all probes are electrodes or sensors. Probes, such as temperature probes, are used to penetrate a material for measurement. Common electrode types are pH, total dissolved solid (TDS), oxidation reduction potential (ORP), and ion selective electrode (ISE). They come in standard models or in all-in-one (sometimes called 3-in-1) models, which have a built-in temperature sensor for automatic temperature compensation (ATC). Electrodes can be half-cell or full- (also called combination) cell type. They can be refillable or non-refillable. Housing material is typically glass or epoxy, and sensors are commonly made with stainless steel or a glass bulb. pH electrodes, whi...
