The Megger 6220 series four-piece duplex test lead set includes two current leads with spring clamps and two potential leads with crocodile clips for use with the with Megger DLRO200 and DLRO600 digital microhmmeters. These current and potential test leads are for taking four-wire resistance measurements, which are more accurate than two-wire resistance measurements and allow low resistance values to be detected. The spring clamps have a 2.4" (60 mm) jaw opening, and the crocodile clips (also known as alligator clips) have a 0.9" (22 mm) jaw opening. Both the spring clamps and crocodile clips provide hands-free connection to a conductor. The leads have a maximum current input of 600 amp.A test probe, test lead, test prod, or scope probe transmits an electrical signal to a testing device for display and analysis. Designs range from simple test leads with probe-style or clamp-on tips to more complex oscilloscope probes and current detectors. Some test probes, such as basic test leads, have wires with tips for connecting to test equipment. Other test probes, such as voltage detectors, are built into the meter. Depending on what is to be tested, the probe might either be passive or have active parts that require external power to operate. Some probes require contact for testing, while some are capable of taking measurements from a distance. Some also have finger barriers, insulation, or other features to help protect the operator's hand from electrical shock and burns. Test probes are rated according to the amount of voltage, current, temperature, or other input they can measure. When choosing a test probe, the maximum amount of input that the probe can measure should match or exceed both the maximum amount that can be tested by the test equipment, as well as that of the property expected to be present in the application.Megger manufactures equipment for cable fault locating, protective relay testing, telecommunications and data integrity, and power quality testing under multiple brand names, among them Megger, Biddl...

Hioki ST5520 Insulation Testers The Hioki electrical safety test instrument series is designed for insulation resistance and voltage withstand testing of electrical devices and components according to various safety standards. The ST5520 and ST5520-01 are the fastest insulation testers in the industry, delivering pass/fail assessment in as fast as 50 ms. 25 to 1000 V test voltage with 1 V resolution. Industry-beating test time Rapidly assess in as fast as 50 ms Testing is complete in as little as 50 ms - the fastest time in the industry. This is 700 ms faster than legacy Hioki models. Discharge time varies according to the sample's capacitance The pictured waveform re?¼éects use of a test time of  45 ms The waveform shows the test result for a 9 MΩ, 10 pF sample  High-speed auto discharge function Quickly discharge residual voltage The post-test residual voltage discharge time has been reduced significantly compared with legacy models. As a result, when comparing an identical sample under the following conditions, a takt time improvement of 990 ms is estimated. Discharge time varies according to the sample's capacitance The waveform shows the test result for a 9 MΩ, 10 pF sample Contact check function Prevents errors due to poor contact The contact check function allows you to check that proper contact has been made with the device under test prior to the testing. This ensures that resistance testing is not carried out without proper contact, as this can result in erroneous assessment. There are two methods: 4-wire contact check and comparator contact check. 4 - Wire Contact Check Continuity between the low contact check terminal and the low output terminal, and between the high contact check terminal and the high output terminal, is veri?¼üed

The Megger MOM2 series digital microhmmeter measures resistance in circuit breaker contacts, bus-bar joints, and other high-current links. The meter is autoranging and digital for safety and ease of use. The unit stores up to 190 test results for download to a PC via Bluetooth download. Measures resistance from 0 to 1,000 megaohms. The unit has a DualGround measurement function, which increases test safety by grounding both sides of the test object throughout the test. The unit produces high-current test charges using an ultra capacitor. The LED display combines analog arc response and a dual digital display. The unit is Ingress Protection (IP) 54 rated for protection against dust and splashing water. The MOM2 series is used by electricians and electrical contractors.Specifications Power supply (5) AA batteries Resistance range 0 to 1,000 megaohms Current range 0 to 220A Weight (including batteries) 1kg/2.2 lb. Ingress protection (IP) standard met IP54, for protection against dust and splashing water Dimensions 217 x 104 x 72mm/8.5 x 4.1 x 2.8 inches (H x W x D)H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.Electrical test meters report electrical circuit properties, such as voltage, resistance, capacitance, and continuity. Available in handheld or benchtop form, they detect electrical problems in equipment, wiring, and power supplies. A variety of probes, clamps, and leads can be used to connect the meter to a circuit or device. Single-function meters, such as battery testers and voltage testers, measure one property of a circuit, and multimeters measure multiple properties. Electrical test meters display information either in analog form using a needle that moves on a calibrated scale, or in digital form on an LED screen. Meters have electrical properties that are to be measured and the anticipated range of results, and should have a rating that is higher than the maxi...
