The Winters SSN series brass snubber has a sintered, porous stainless steel 316 snubbing element, a male x female connection, comes in three standard viscosity classifications, and operates in pressures up to 10,000 psi (68,950 kPa). The snubber is brass for operating in non-corrosive liquid and gases. The sintered, porous 316 stainless steel snubbing element has a large surface area to ensure long-term effectiveness. The snubber is available in the three standard viscosity classifications of heavy oil, water, and air. The male x female connection is either a 1/4" or 1/2" NPT (National Pipe Thread) rate. The burst pressure is 30,000 psi (206,850 kPa). The working pressure is a maximum of 10,000 psi (68,950 kPa). The operating temperature is -65 to 650 degrees F (-53 to 343 degrees C). This snubber suppresses the effects of pressure pulses and pressure peaks to lessen the damaging effects of pulsation on gauges, transducers, transmitters, manometers, and pressure switches. Pressure gauges are instruments used to measure the pressure of a gas or liquid inside a vessel and, often, to help ensure the optimal amount of pressure for a given application. Pressure gauges can range from everyday instruments, such as those used to measure the air pressure in a car or bicycle tire, to highly accurate gauges used in mechanical and industrial processing. Most often, pressure gauges measure pressure relative to another reference. For instance, gauge pressure measures pressure relative to ambient air. An example of a pressure gauge measuring relative to ambient air is a tire pressure gauge or a blood pressure gauge. Differential pressure is the difference in pressure between two points, such as when measuring liquid flow along various points in a pipeline. An absolute pressure gauge measures pressure relative to a perfect vacuum, such as an atmospheric or barometric pressure gauge. All types of pressure gauges include either a male or a female mount to connect to the vessel where pressure is being measured, and display results ...

The NoShok 200 series 2.5" (63 mm) pressure gauge has brass wetted parts, a dry circular dial enclosed in a steel case, a lower mount or center back male 1/4" NPT connection, and measures pressure with a single or dual scale with an accuracy of + or - 1.5%. The brass wetted parts are for measuring non-corrosive liquid and gas pressure. The black painted steel case provides corrosion resistance. The lens on the dry 2.5" dial is clear acrylic. The dial is white aluminum with black markings, is UV resistant, and has a black finished aluminum pointer. The gauge measures pressure with either a single or a dual scale in inch water column (WC), psi, or oz./square inch. The gauge is accurate to + or - 1.5% over the entire range of the gauge, American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) B40.100 Grade A accuracy class. The male connection is mounted on the bottom or center back of the gauge and has a 1/4" NPT (National Pipe Thread) rate. The movement is brass and nickel-silver with highly polished bearing surfaces. The gauge has an ultra-sensitive copper alloy diaphragm capsule. The gauge operates in both fluctuating and static pressures up to 90% of the dial range. The ambient temperature for the gauge is 0 to 140 degrees F (-18 to 60 degrees C). The media temperature range is -4 to 140 degrees F (-20 to 60 degrees C). This pressure gauge is suitable for medical, biomedical, HVAC, gas distribution, filtration, burner and gas combustion service, and wastewater treatment applications.Pressure gauges are instruments used to measure the pressure of a gas or liquid inside a vessel and, often, to help ensure the optimal amount of pressure for a given application. The Winters PLP series pressure gauge with brass wetted parts has a circular dial enclosed in a steel case, and a male 1/4" NPT connection, and measures pressure with a single or dual scale with an accuracy of + or - 3/2/3%. The brass wetted parts are for measuring non-corrosive liquid and gas pressure. The steel case is Ingress Protection certified IP52 for protection against dust or liquids. The circular dial comes in 2.5" (63 mm) or 4" (100 mm) diameters. The dial is white aluminum with black and red markings. It has an aluminum, anodized black, pointer and the lens is polycarbonate for high impact resistance. The lens ring is steel. The gauge measures pressure with a single water vacuum scale or a dual scale of psi/kPa or water/oz. The gauge is accurate to + or - 3/2/3% over the entire range of the gauge, American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) B40.100 Grade B accuracy class. The male connection is mounted on the bottom or center back of the gauge and has a 1/4" NPT (National Pipe Thread) rate. The movement for the 2.5" gauge is an engineering plastic upper and lower plate with brass pinion and sector. The movement for the 4" gauge is brass. The welding is brazed solder.
