The Laxco Alpha-1102 visible-light spectrophotometer has a 325 to 1000nm wavelength range, a 4nm spectral bandwidth, and a halogen lamp, and is used for routine testing and teaching laboratory applications. The instrument provides direct measurement of routine absorbance and transmittance measurements, and stores up 200 test points. The 4.0nm bandwidth is used for quality control measurements when high resolution is not required. The halogen lamp and single detector support measurements in the visible range.
