The Mitutoyo 570-314 LCD Absolute Digimatic height gauge displays a metric measurement range of 0†- 24"/0 - 600 mm, an LCD digital readout precise to 0.0005â€/0.01 mm, with + or - 0.002â€/0.05 mm of accuracy, and data output to transmit results to a Mitutoyo miniprocessor or computer for statistical process control (SPC). This height gauge has an electronic microprocessor providing the ability to preset a reference height at any position, as well as to set a temporary zero position and return to a true zero reading. The output port transmits results to a Mitutoyo miniprocessor or computer through an interface cable (not included) for statistical process control (SPC). The gauge has a plug to receive input from an electronic touch probe (not included) for efficient digital measurement. An electrostatic capacitance linear encoder helps prevent overspeed errors to help ensure repeatable, precise measurement. A hand-operated feed wheel raises and lowers the gauge on the beam for measurement ease, and a clamp lever allows the user to hold measurement position. The scriber, used to mark a position on a workpiece, is 30 mm x 60 mm (H x W), carbide-tipped to help prolong life, and is held to the gauge by a screw clamp for fastening ease. The grip-base helps hold the unit in position by hand. The height gauge weighs 14.11 lbs/6.4 kg. The unit comes with an SR44 battery. Height gauges, also called gages, are precision measuring instruments that travel on a vertical column (also called the beam) to measure and/or mark the vertical distance from the base of an object in fine units. The vertical position of the gauge and its attached pointer are changed by turning a calibrated screw, or one or more feed wheels. Recorded rotations are read from a scale, a dial, counters, and/or an electronic display. A screw clamp holds the pointer to the gauge. The pointer is typically sharpened to act as a scriber, and can be used to mark position on a workpiece by scratching its surface. On compatible units, the scriber...

The Mitutoyo 514-104 vernier height gauge has a measurement range of 0 - 450 mm, and is graduated to 0.02 mm, with + or - 0.05 mm of accuracy. The scriber, used to mark a position on a workpiece, is 32 mm x 80 mm (H x W), carbide-tipped for hardness and to help prolong life, and is held to the gauge by a screw clamp for secure fastening. The grip-base helps hold the unit in position by hand. An adjustable beam with a ring-type lock nut supports repositioning of the zero reference point for manual change of the base position. The slider and beam are made of hardened stainless steel, with a glare-free satin chrome finish that helps resist rust. The height gauge weighs 7.5 lbs/3.4 kg. A vernier scale provides precise measurement through a second sliding scale that indicates where measurement lies between marks on the main scale. A calibrated screw mechanism supports fine, uniform slider adjustments. The pointer is typically sharpened to act as a scriber, and can be used to mark a position on a workpiece by scratching its surface. On compatible units, the scriber may be replaced by an electronic touch-signal probe. Height gauges are typically used in manufacturing, machining, and mechanical engineering. Mitutoyo manufactures precision measuring tools, metrology equipment, and systems. The company was founded in Tokyo in 1934 and formed Mitutoyo America Corporation in 1963, which is headquartered in Aurora, IL.

You no longer need to align a rule or mess with set up blocks when you're trying to accurately set router bit or table saw blade height. The 1-1/2" x 4" base features a magnetic strip to help hold the gauge in position while the large digital readout lets you set your cutter height to exactly the depth you need. Fast, accurate and repeatable cutter height setting allows you to make precise cuts and repeat your set ups. The shape of the anvil lets you use the gauge to set router fence position up to 4-1/2". Displays both fractions and the decimal equivalent at the same time so you know your fraction is exactly on, not rounded up or down like other fraction read outs. Accurate to +/- .001", 1/500", or .025mm

The Mitutoyo 570-227 LCD Absolute Digimatic height gauge displays a metric measurement range of 0 to 200 mm, an LCD digital readout precise to 0.01 mm, with + or - 0.03 mm of accuracy, and data output to transmit results to a Mitutoyo miniprocessor or computer for statistical process control (SPC). The height gauge is compact and weighs approximately 3 lbs/1.4 kg, and is suitable for scribing while held against a vertical base or for measuring small objects in the field. This height gauge has an electronic microprocessor providing the ability to preset a reference height at any position, as well as set a temporary zero position and return to a true zero reading. The output port transmits results to a Mitutoyo miniprocessor or computer through an interface cable (not included) for statistical process control (SPC). An electrostatic capacitance linear encoder helps prevent overspeed errors to help ensure repeatable, precise measurement. The scriber, used to mark a position on a workpiece, is 25 mm x 47 mm (H x L), carbide-tipped for hardness and to help prolong life, and is held to the gauge by a screw clamp for fastening ease.
