The TPI 440 is a handheld electrical test device that combines a 1MHz, single-channel digital oscilloscope for viewing low-bandwidth electrical signals with a true RMS digital multimeter for measuring AC voltage to 750V, DC voltage to 1,000V, AC and DC current to 10 amp, resistance to 30MΩ, capacitance to 400μF, and frequency to 2MHz. The oscilloscope has a maximum real-time sample rate of 20MS/s and record length of 256 pixels for viewing industrial power signals such as motor controls, UPS, switching power supplies, and PLC controls. Spikes in signals can be found with the glitch capture trigger. The 4,000-count, true RMS (root mean square) multimeter provides accurate readings when measuring linear or non-linear loads, regardless of waveform. It has two ranging modes: manual, which allows the user to select the operating range, and auto, which automatically selects the appropriate operating range. The relative function allows a measurement to be set as a reference value and displays subsequent measurements as a positive or negative deviation from that value, and the record function captures maximum, minimum, and average values for parameter. A continuity buzzer confirms that the circuit conducts electricity, and a diode check detects whether a circuit’s diodes are working properly. The unit's component test checks voltage-current signatures on resistors, capacitors, and semiconductors, its logic test indicates transitions up to 2 MHz, and its frequency counter measures low-frequency signals from 1Hz to 2MHz, displaying duty cycle, pulse width, and period. Additional specifications include a sweep speed of 1μs to 1s and various triggering features. The unit has a 3" x 3" LCD with a resolution of 160 x 240 pixels that can simultaneously show a waveform and a reading, and has a backlight for visibility in low light. A multimeter is an electrical testing tool for measuring multiple properties of an electrical circuit to verify proper operation or diagnose problems. The unit operates on a rechargeabl...

The Instek GDS-1000-U series is a two-channel, portable digital oscilloscope with a maximum real-time sample rate of 250MS/s, a record length of 4 kpts, auto-set function, advanced triggering, two basic math functions and FFT, 19 measurement parameters, an internal memory for data storage, data logging, and USB connectivity for electronics applications such as such as product design, assembly lines, repair and servicing, and electrical engineering, among others. The sample rate and record length enable long capture times for displaying detailed waveforms. An auto-set function automatically configures the optimum settings for displaying waveforms by selecting the horizontal and vertical scales, positioning the waveform horizontally and vertically, and selecting and activating the trigger source channel. In addition to an edge trigger, the unit has pulse width and video triggers for isolating a specific signal. Two basic math functions—add and subtract—plus FFT (fast fourier transform) and 19 measurement parameters such as average, frequency, and peak-to-peak allow an in-depth analysis of waveforms. A go/no go test function promptly indicates when a signal falls outside user-defined settings, and a zoom function magnifies details of waveforms. Up to 15 waveforms or 15 setups can be stored in the internal memory of the oscilloscope. A data logging function tracks data at user-defined timed intervals for up to 100 hours, logging the data on a USB flash drive (sold separately). Additional specifications include a rise time of 7ns for the 50MHz model, 5ns for the 70MHz model, and 3.5ns for the 100MHz model, and various triggering features. The oscilloscope has a 5.7" color TFT (thin film transistor) LCD with a resolution of 320 x 234 pixels and can show simultaneously show up to two live and two stored waveforms. The oscilloscope has a USB host port for connecting a flash drive (sold separately) to store data and a USB device port for connecting to a PC for storing data and remote operation. The unit meet...

The GW Instek GDS-2000A series digital storage oscilloscope (DSO) has Waveform Search and Segmented Memory for electronics applications such as product design and debugging, repair and servicing, and electrical engineering education. It has a vertical sensitivity to 10mV per division for the full bandwidth and 1mV per division when the gain control is engaged for capturing low-level signals. The series has bandwidth range from 70 to 300MHz and two to four channels with a single-channel sample rate range of up to 2GS/s. Events captured and saved into Segmented Memory can be divided into 2,048 sections for observation, increasing memory usage efficiency. Waveform Search mode marks waveform sections that comply with a user-defined search condition and threshold level. Triggers include Edge, Pulse Width, Video, Runt, Slope, Alternate, Event-Delay, and Time-Delay. The oscilloscope has an 8" color TFT-LCD (800 x 600 pixels) with an internal 8 x 10 division grid for viewing waveforms. This digital storage oscilloscope is European Conformity (CE) approved and CAT I 300V safety rated.Oscilloscopes are electrical testing devices used to verify the functionality of an electrical signal generator. Oscilloscopes measure an electrical signal over time, and display the waveform signals in a visual graph. The waveform shows the sweeps (or refresh) of voltage on a vertical (Y) axis, and can display time on a horizontal (X) axis. Details of a waveshape demonstrate the signal over time. Oscilloscopes can display in a digital or analog view. An analog oscilloscope has continuous waveform display, typically in a luminous phosphor. Some oscilloscopes can display more than one channel and type of measurement simultaneously. Some oscilloscopes can capture waveform signals to memory, and recall them. Oscilloscopes may provide real-time intensity grading. Some oscilloscopes have the ability to adjust frequency of display. A constant image will display if a signal is shown at a high frequency. Oscilloscopes can be powered with batteries or...
