The Megger 246034 CT miniature current sensor is a clamp-on current sensor with a 2.5' lead that connects to BITE 2 and BITE 2P receivers to measure test current. The sensor measures 4.44 x 1.34 inches (H x W, where H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; and W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right), and it can be used for taking measurements on small-gauge wires and in areas where space is limited. The current clamp has a 1.5" jaw opening to measure current without disconnecting the circuit. It can be used to test noisy battery systems and does not require parallel battery strings to be isolated before testing for ground faults. The sensor has a maximum current input of 150 amp. It weighs 5.6 oz. (159 g). Battery testers are used in the industrial, commercial, medical, telecommunications, aircraft, power utility, and military industries to detect the health of a battery. They can measure conductance, impedance, voltage, and current, among other parameters. Battery testers are designed for specific types of batteries, such as lead-acid, nickel-metal-hydride (NiMH) and alkaline batteries. Some testers require a load to be applied to the battery during testing, and some do not. A variety of test leads with contacts, probes, clamps, clips, and other connectors can be used to connect a battery to a tester. Since different testers can measure different parameters to calculate battery health, it is important to use the same tester for consecutive tests on a single battery when analyzing changes in battery health over time. Megger manufactures equipment for cable fault locating, protective relay testing, telecommunications and data integrity, and power quality testing under multiple brand names, among them Megger, Biddle, States, and AVO. The company, founded in 1889, is headquartered in Dover, England, and meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 standards.

AC Flip Clamp TRMS Equipped with an innovative display that flips down for easy visibility, the 3291-50 and 3293-50 are designed for efficient measurement of indoor wiring in a variety of environments, from factories, buildings, and offices to residences. The convenience of being able to safely measure currents without the need to disconnect power lines has made clamp on current meters the required equipment for the technicians who are responsible for maintaining and inspecting new and existing electrical equipment at locations such as factories and offices. Market research indicates that most of the clamp sensor damage and other problems that these instruments frequently experience is caused by excessive twisting in confined spaces, particularly when technicians must forcefully rotate the tool in an effort to see the display during measurement. The CLAMP ON HiTESTER 3291 and CLAMP ON LEAK HiTESTER 3293 address these issues with newly developed low-profile sensors and a movable display, ensuring unmatched ease of use in the field. The new models meet technicians' demands for easy operability in on-site measuring applications with exceptional portability and full-featured measurement functionality. Advantages: * Compact, low-profile sensors - The 3291 measures conductors up to 30 mm in diameter with a low-profile sensor core that's just 8 mm thick. It can be clamped in place to measure circuit breakers and other conductors as long as there is at least 12.5 mm of space available between wires. The 3293 measures conductors up to 24 mm in diameter with a low-profile sensor core that's just 11 mm thick. The core's concentric design acts to reduce the influence of magnetic fields from nearby power lines, even when measuring leak currents. * Flip-down display - The ability to rotate the display through 180? keeps readings visible regardless of the configuration of the wiring being measured and its location above or below the user

275 Clamp-On Tester with True RMS Digital Multimeter and 11,000 Count Display The TPI 275 digital clamp meter is a true RMS sensing, manual- and auto-ranging multimeter for measuring current, voltage, resistance, capacitance, and frequency in electrical testing applications. It has a clamp that measures AC and DC current to 400 amp. The clamp has two jaws that can close around an electrical conductor up to 35mm (1.37") in diameter to measure current without touching or interrupting the circuit. A set of test leads is included for measuring DC current to 1,100 microamperes, AC and DC voltage to 600V, resistance to 110 megohms, voltage frequency to 110mHz (megahertz), and capacitance to 110,000 microfarads. The meter comes with a K-type thermocouple probe for measuring temperature to 1,000 degrees F. Its relative function allows a measurement to be set as a reference value, and it displays the subsequent measurements as positive or negative deviations from that value. The peak hold function records the maximum measurement of a current surge. The maximum/minimum function records the highest and lowest readings in a session to track a sudden increase or decrease in readings. To aid documentation of readings and capture readings in tight spaces, the data hold function keeps the most recent reading on the display after disconnecting from the circuit. An audible continuity sensor confirms that the circuit conducts electricity, and a diode check detects whether a circuit's diodes are working properly. The meter's inrush current function analyzes the surge current at the startup of motors and other inductive loads to provide accurate, stable measurements. A non-contact voltage detector senses voltage without making contact with the circuit. The meter has a rotary switch to select the property to measure, and an 11,000-count LCD that shows readings numerically and in a 41-segment bar graph

The Amprobe CT238A current clamp measures AC or DC current to 30 amp without touching or interrupting the circuit. The Hall effect clamp has two jaws that fit around a 0.75" (19 mm) conductor. It converts a high-current signal to a low-level millivolt signal so it can be read by a testing device. The zero adjust function compensates for changes in output voltage due to environmental conditions. The clamp attaches to a compatible testing device, such as a digital multimeter, with a 59-inch, 1.5-meter lead. A finger guard on the body of the meter helps protect fingers from shock. The clamp operates on one 9V battery (included). It weighs 0.64 pounds (290 g) and measures 2.2 by 8.3 by 1.2 inches (55 x 210 x 30 mm, H x W x D, where H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; and D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back). It meets applicable European Conformity (CE) directives.Clamp meters (also called clamp-on meters) measure electrical current without cutting through wires or touching or interrupting the electrical circuit. Available in handheld or benchtop models, clamp meters diagnose problems in electrical equipment, wiring, and power supplies. The meter's current clamp has two jaws that fit around a conductor to take measurements. All clamp meters test for current. Some come with test leads and inputs for measuring voltage, capacitance, and resistance. They display information either in analog or digital form. Factors that influence meter choice include the electrical properties to be measured, the anticipated range of results, and the desired level of protection against transient voltages determine meter choice. Safety ratings are based on the International Electrotechnical Commission's (IEC) standards for low-voltage test equipment. IEC 61010 delineates four overvoltage installation categories. In general, a meter with a category IV rating will provide more protection against transient voltages than a meter with a l...
