The Mitutoyo Digimatic 468 series Holtest LCD inside micrometer has three-point contacts for self-centering measurement of the inside dimension (ID) of bores, and a digital single-value LCD readout that displays in inch and metric units with resolution to 0.00005†(0.001mm). It also has Statistical Process Control (SPC) data output to transmit results to a computer or external device through an interface cable (sold separately). The micrometer’s electronic microprocessor can hold measurements at any position, convert to absolute value, set a temporary zero position, and return to a true zero reading. An automatic off function helps preserve battery life when the unit is not in use. The electronics housing has an Ingress Protection 65 (IP65) rating, which means that components are resistant to penetration by dust and debris, and resistant to penetration by liquids and coolant up to the force of a low-pressure (to 30 kilonewtons/meter-squared) water jet. The measuring faces are made of hardened steel and TiN-coated for wear resistance. The micrometer includes, and is powered by, a single SR44 silver oxide battery, and comes with a fitted case for storage.Micrometers are precision measuring instruments that use a calibrated screw to measure small distances. These measurements are translated into large rotations of the screw that are then able to be read from a scale or a dial. Micrometers are typically used in manufacturing, machining, and mechanical engineering. There are three types of micrometer: outside, inside, and depth. Outside micrometers may also be called micrometer calipers, and are used to measure the length, width, or outside diameter of an object. Inside micrometers are typically used to measure interior diameter, as in a hole. Depth micrometers measure the height, or depth, of any shape that has a step, groove, or slot.Mitutoyo manufactures precision measuring tools, metrology equipment, and systems. The company was founded in Tokyo in 1934 and formed Mitutoyo America Corporation in 1963, ...

The Mitutoyo 368 series Holtest vernier inside micrometer has two-point contacts for measurement of the inside dimension (ID) of small bores, and a vernier scale in inch units for taking precise ID measurements. It also has a ratchet-stop mechanism that helps provide uniform pressure for precise, repeatable measurements. The micrometer is made of high-grade tool steel for durability and has a satin chrome rust- and glare-resistant finish. The vernier scale is graduated to 0.0001â€. The measuring faces are made of hardened steel and the micrometer comes with a plastic case for storage.Micrometers are precision measuring instruments that use a calibrated screw to measure small distances. This Dixon Valve GL125 pressure gauge has a 1/4" National Pipe Taper (NPT) male threaded lower mount, a 2" display face and an ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) case with a polycarbonate crystal, and measures pressure from 0 to 100 pounds per square inch (psi). The dry gauge displays 2 psi increments on a white dial face with a black aluminum pointer and has ASME B40.1, Grade B accuracy (plus or minus 3-2-3 percent of span). Pressure is measured using a bronze bourdon tube, and the gauge has a bronze safety movement with a polyester segment to resist shock, vibration, and pulsation. This pressure gauge has an operating temperature range of -40 to +150 degrees F and is suitable for use in a variety of applications, such as measuring gas or liquid pressure in petrochemical and chemical manufacturing.SpecificationsGauge typePressure gauge, 0 to 100 psi, 2 psi increments, dryEnclosure2" display, ABS case, polycarbonate crystalAccuracyPlus or minus 3-2-3 percent of span, ASME B40.1, Grade BConnectionLower mount, 1/4" NPT maleOperating temperature range-40 to +150 degrees FPressure gauges are instruments used to measure the pressure of a gas or liquid inside a vessel and, often, to help ensure the optimal amount of pressure for a given application. Pressure gauges can range from everyday instruments, such as those used to measure the air pressure in a car or bicycle tire, to highly accurate gauges used in mechanical and industrial processing. Most often, pressure gauges measure pressure relative to another reference, such as to ambient air. An example of a pressure gauge measuring relative to ambient air is a tire pressure gauge or a blood pressure gauge. A pressure gauge can also measure differential pressure, which is the difference in pressure between two points, such as when measuring liquid flow along various points in a pipeline. An absolute pressure gauge measures pressure relative to a perfect vacuum, such as an atmospheric or barometric pressure gauge. All types of pressure gauges include either a male or ...
