The AEMC 3620 portable analog ground resistance tester with 300 ft. leads performs 3-point fall-of-potential ground resistance testing and 2-point continuity tests on bonding, and is suitable for rugged use by maintenance crews performing multiple tests. The compact unit is well-suited for a range of applications, such as testing single rod and small ground grids at telecommunications sites, cellular towers, and for lightning protection systems, grounded equipment, and new construction. The tester is designed for ease of use, with “connect–press–read†operation, three color-coded terminals, and a large Press to Measure button. The tester displays direct readings from 0.5 to 1000Ω, with a separate marking for 25Ω. A manual zero adjust is provided for accurate readings. The instrument is engineered to reject high levels of interference in difficult conditions, such as high stray currents that can affect accuracy. Ground-resistance meters are used by electricians and contractors working in industrial, utility, and field servicing. The AEMC 3620 double-insulated tester with CE mark meets or exceeds IEC mechanical and safety specifications for shock, vibration, and drop tests. It is fuse-protected and can withstand 250V RMS in the event of a system fault with spikes of 3000V AC or 1000V DC. Safety ratings include EN61010-1, CAT III, and pollution degree 2. The tester kit includes two 300ft. color-coded leads (one red, one blue), two 100ft. leads (one green, one black), four 14.5" T-shaped auxiliary ground electrodes, five spaded lugs, and a 100ft. tape measure, a carrying case for the tester, and a carrying case for the kit accessories.Specifications Measurement range 0.5 to 1000Ω Operating frequency 128Hz square wave Test current 10mA Resolution 10mΩ Accuracy + or - 5% of reading + 0.1% of galvanometer scale length Operating temperature range -10 to 55 degrees C/14 to 131 degrees F Power source (8) 1.5V AA batteries (included) Weight 2.9lbs./1.3kg Dimens...
