The Hanna Instruments HI 7698293 long calibration beaker holds buffer solution during the calibration process. The sensor is designed for use with the HI 9829 or HI 98290 GPS multiparameter meter and a compatible digital probe in environmental monitoring. During calibration, the threaded beaker is screwed onto the probe body. Text prompts during quick calibration indicate when to empty the beaker, when to shake the probe, and when to reinsert the probe in the beaker. Two beakers are recommended for each buffer solution: one for rinsing the sensor, and the second for calibration.A multiparameter meter is a benchtop or handheld device that can take multiple readings on a single sample. It uses a viscometer constant of 1.2 centistokes per second (cSt/s) for calculating kinematic viscosity. The CUC-series size 400 viscometer uses a 254mm depth water bath (not included) for temperature-control testing and a vacuum (not included) to draw a sample up for timed testing between two sets of printed marks.
