The WIKA overpressure protector helps safeguard pressure gauges against the effects of pressures exceeding the maximum pressure rating and is made of stainless steel wetted parts that are corrosion resistant. The overpressure protector is equipped with a male connection that has a 1/4" National Pipe Thread (NPT) rate.Pressure gauges are instruments used to measure the pressure of a gas or liquid inside a vessel and, often, to help ensure the optimal amount of pressure for a given application. Pressure gauges can range from everyday instruments, such as those used to measure the air pressure in a car or bicycle tire, to highly accurate gauges used in mechanical and industrial processing. Most often, pressure gauges measure pressure relative to another reference. For instance, gauge pressure measures pressure relative to ambient air. An example of a pressure gauge measuring relative to ambient air is a tire pressure gauge or a blood pressure gauge. Differential pressure is the difference in pressure between two points, such as when measuring liquid flow along various points in a pipeline. An absolute pressure gauge measures pressure relative to a perfect vacuum, such as an atmospheric or barometric pressure gauge. All types of pressure gauges include either a male or a female mount to connect to the vessel where pressure is being measured, and display results on a dial with varying increments of measure across a given range.WIKA Instrument Corporation is a global manufacturer of pressure and temperature measurement instruments, including pressure gauges, diaphragm seals, pressure transmitters, and thermometers, that meet International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards for quality assurance. The company, founded in 1946, is headquartered in Lawrenceville, GA.

The Magnahelic guage is the industry standard to measure fan and blower pressures, filter resistance, air velocity, furnace draft, pressure drop across orifice plates, liquid levels with bubbler systems, and pressures in fluid amplifier or fluidic systems. The gauge's motion is damped with high-viscosity silicone fluid. The zero adjustment screw is conveniently located in the plastic cover, and is accessible without removing the cover. O-ring seal provides pressure tightness. Rugged design resists shock, vibration, and overpressure. The helix is precision-made from an alloy of high magnetic permeability. Mounted in jeweled bearings, it turns freely, following the maganetic field to move the pointer across the scale. The samarium cobalt magnet is mounted at one end of the range spring and rotates the helix without mechanical linkages. What's Included: Two 1/8" NPT plugs, two 1/8" rubber tubing adapters, and three mounting adapters with screws The industry standard in indicating low air or gas pressures of positive, negative, or differential pressures Large, easy-to-read 4" (102 mm) dial No manometer fluid to evaporate, freeze, or cause toxic or leveling problems

Select the Magnehelic gage for high accuracy--guaranteed within 2% of full scale--and for the wide choice of 81 models available to suit your needs precisely. Using Dwyer's simple, frictionless Magnehelic gage movement, it quickly indicates low air or non-corrosive gas pressures--either positive, negative (vacuum) or differential. The design resists shock, vibration and over-pressures. No manometer fluid to evaporate, freeze or cause toxic or leveling problems. It's inexpensive, too.

The WIKA differential low pressure gauge has a circular dial that is 4" in diameter and is enclosed in a thermoplastic case with a polycarbonate window for increased durability in low temperature environments. The gauge measures pressure from 0.02 to 50 inch water column (inWC) and is accurate to + or - 3 percent of span over the entire range of the gauge. The female connection is a hosed barb that is made of plastic for increased durability. The gauge can be mounted and dismounted easily without the use of tools. The low pressure gauge is suitable for measuring differences of pressure in isolation chambers and for monitoring blowers and ventilators.Pressure gauges are instruments used to measure the pressure of a gas or liquid inside a vessel and, often, to help ensure the optimal amount of pressure for a given application. High quality liquid filled gauges designed for durability, accuracy and long life. Pressure ranges from vacuum through 15000 psi. 2-1/2" Dial sizes back connected; single scale. Heavy one-piece die casting integrates the case, connection, movement. and bourdon tube support into a solid unit to eliminate leakage. Glycerine fill greatly reduces effects of vibration, pulsation and shock. Dials are printed with bold UV resistant ink for ease of readability even after years. of exposure to direct sunlight. Used in demanding applications that are not corrosive to brass, where vibration and pulsation are present. Die cast brass natural brass finish. Phosphor bronze "C" tube. Brass and Nickel-Silver with highly polished bearing surfaces. Safety relief disc on the top of the case. +/-1.5 percent Full scale ASME grade A Accuracy. Aluminum, white background with black markings. Glycerine and water fill liquid. Dynamic Pressure: The working pressure should be limited to 60 percent of the dial range for long service life. Static Pressure: The working pressure, where no sharp fluctuations occur, should be limited to 90 percent of the dial range. 0 to 160 degree F Ambient temperature. -4 to 140 degree F Media temperature.
