The Brown & Sharpe TESA Extension for Intrimik micrometers is an accessory to Intermik Micromaster and Style A inch micrometers for extending its reach for measurement of a deep hole. It has a set of retractable, spring-loaded arms for self-centering. The accessory is made of high-grade tool steel for durability and has a satin-chrome rust- and glare-resistant finish .Micrometers are precision measuring instruments that use a calibrated screw to measure small distances. The Brown & Sharpe Micromaster Intrimik Capa LCD inside micrometer has three-point contacts for self-centering measurement of the inside dimension (ID) of bores, and a digital single-value LCD readout that displays in inch and metric units with resolution to 0.00005†(0.001mm). The measuring faces are made of hardened steel and may be uncoated, TiN-coated, or tungsten carbide-tipped for wear resistance, depending on the model.
