This Dixon Valve GLBR5000-4 pressure gauge has a 1/2" National Pipe Taper (NPT) male threaded lower mount, a 4" display face and a chrome/brass case with an acrylic crystal, and measures pressure from 0 to 5,000 pounds per square inch (psi). The liquid-filled gauge displays 50 psi increments on a white dial face with a black aluminum pointer and has ASME B40.1, Grade 1A accuracy (plus or minus 1 percent of span). Pressure is measured using a copper alloy bourdon tube, and the gauge has a brass movement with polished bearing surfaces for extended wear. This pressure gauge has an operating temperature range of -4 to +140 degrees F and is suitable for use in a variety of applications, such as measuring gas or liquid pressure in petrochemical and chemical manufacturing.SpecificationsGauge typePressure gauge, 0 to 5,000 psi, 50 psi increments, liquid-filledEnclosure4" display, chrome/brass case, acrylic crystalAccuracyPlus or minus 1 percent of span, ASME B40.1, Grade 1AConnectionLower mount, 1/2" NPT maleOperating temperature range-4 to +140 degrees FPressure gauges are instruments used to measure the pressure of a gas or liquid inside a vessel and, often, to help ensure the optimal amount of pressure for a given application. Pressure gauges can range from everyday instruments, such as those used to measure the air pressure in a car or bicycle tire, to highly accurate gauges used in mechanical and industrial processing. Most often, pressure gauges measure pressure relative to another reference, such as to ambient air. An example of a pressure gauge measuring relative to ambient air is a tire pressure gauge or a blood pressure gauge. A pressure gauge can also measure differential pressure, which is the difference in pressure between two points, such as when measuring liquid flow along various points in a pipeline. An absolute pressure gauge measures pressure relative to a perfect vacuum, such as an atmospheric or barometric pressure gauge. All types of pressure gauges include either a male or a female mount to connect...

The Mitutoyo 133 series tubular vernier inside micrometer has a vernier scale in metric units for taking precise inside dimension (ID) measurements of the inside of cylinders, rings, and parallel surfaces. The micrometer head sleeve rotates to adjust the zero point to help provide accuracy. A locking clamp helps hold measurements in place. The vernier scale is graduated to 0.01mm, and has a satin chrome rust- and glare-resistant finish. The measuring faces are carbide-tipped for wear resistance. The micrometer comes with a fitted case for storage.Micrometers are precision measuring instruments that use a calibrated screw to measure small distances. These measurements are translated into large rotations of the screw that are then able to be read from a scale or a dial. Micrometers are typically used in manufacturing, machining, and mechanical engineering. There are three types of micrometer: outside, inside, and depth. Outside micrometers may also be called micrometer calipers, and are used to measure the length, width, or outside diameter of an object. Inside micrometers are typically used to measure interior diameter, as in a hole. Depth micrometers measure the height, or depth, of any shape that has a step, groove, or slot.Mitutoyo manufactures precision measuring tools, metrology equipment, and systems. The Starrett 124MAZ solid-rod inside micrometer set offers a range from 50 mm to 200 mm, is graduated at 0.01 mm intervals, and comes in a protective vinyl-and-steel case. The hardened, radius-ground anvils on rods are accurate. Solid-rod inside micrometers are often used for measuring the inside diameter of a cylinder or ring and when measuring parallel surfaces. The micrometer head, rods, and spacing collars are assembled to the desired range and then adjusted to obtain the measurement. They acquired other companies throughout the years, expanding their services into making precision measurement instruments and tools, such as calipers, micrometers, saw blades, and gauges. Starrett is headquartered in Athol, Massachusetts and has manufacturing facilities in Brazil, the United Kingdom, China, and other locations.
