The Megger 242006 series duplex test lead with Kelvin clip is for use with Megger DLRO10HD, DLRO10, DLRO10X, 247000, 247001, 247002, 247100, 247101, and BT51 digital low-resistance ohmmeters. This duplex test lead measure both current and resistance when taking four-wire resistance measurements, which are more accurate than two-wire resistance measurements and allow low resistance values to be detected. The lead has a maximum test current input of 10 amp. The Kelvin clip directs current through one jaw and potential through other jaw when taking resistance measurements on cables and small wires. It has a 1.5" (4 cm) jaw opening.A test probe, test lead, test prod, or scope probe transmits an electrical signal to a testing device for display and analysis. Designs range from simple test leads with probe-style or clamp-on tips to more complex oscilloscope probes and current detectors. Some test probes, such as basic test leads, have wires with tips for connecting to test equipment. Other test probes, such as voltage detectors, are built into the meter. Depending on what is to be tested, the probe might either be passive or have active parts that require external power to operate. Some probes require contact for testing, while some are capable of taking measurements from a distance. Some also have finger barriers, insulation, or other features to help protect the operator's hand from electrical shock and burns. Test probes are rated according to the amount of voltage, current, temperature, or other input they can measure. When choosing a test probe, the maximum amount of input that the probe can measure should match or exceed both the maximum amount that can be tested by the test equipment, as well as that of the property expected to be present in the application.Megger manufactures equipment for cable fault locating, protective relay testing, telecommunications and data integrity, and power quality testing under multiple brand names, among them Megger, Biddle, States, and AVO. The Amprobe AMB-3 insulation resistance tester is an analog meter that measures insulation resistance to help reduce shock hazards and downtime on electrical systems that include wires, cables, transformers, and electrical motors. A manual range selection knob allows the operator to choose Megaohms or ohms measuring ranges. A power lock keeps the lock on to perform multiple tests. The unit measures voltage from 0 to 600V alternating current (AC) or direct current (DC) and insulation resistance from 0 to 1,000 megaohms using a 500V DC test voltage. The tester automatically discharges capacitance after use so that the test leads may safely be removed from the device. Test leads and a carrying case are included. The tester is powered by four AA batteries (included). The AMB-3 is designed for use by electricians and electrical contractors. Specifications Power supply (4) AA batteries (included) Insulation resistance range 0 ohm to 100 megaohms AC and DC voltage range 0 to 600V Weight (including batteries) 0.77lb. Dimensions 9.9 x 5.85 x 1.8 inches (H x W x D)H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.Electrical test meters report electrical circuit properties, such as voltage, resistance, capacitance, and continuity. Available in handheld or benchtop form, they detect electrical problems in equipment, wiring, and power supplies. A variety of probes, clamps, and leads can be used to connect the meter to a circuit or device. Single-function meters, such as battery testers and voltage testers, measure one property of a circuit, and multimeters measure multiple properties. Electrical test meters display information either in analog form using a needle that moves on a calibrated scale, or in digital form using digits or a graphic representation on an LED screen. Meters have electrical properties that are to be measured and the anticipated range of results, and should have a rat...

The Megger MIT200 series digital/analog handheld insulation resistance tester measures insulation resistance, voltage, and continuity in electrical installations, building maintenance, and electrical testing. The average-sensing meter provides accurate readings when measuring linear loads, where the current or voltage has a sinusoidal waveform. The dual LCD screen indicates test results either digitally or with an analog arc function to replicate the response of analog meters. The tester measures insulation resistance from 0 to 1,000 megohms, voltage from 25 to 600V, and continuity from 0.01 to 100 ohms. A continuity buzzer indicates continuity of 2 ohms or less. The unit has a test inhibit function that prevents testing on circuits carrying over 50V. The tester is safety rated to Ingress Protection 40 (IP40) for protection against accidental contact with hazardous parts, and to European Standard EN61010-1, Category II, 300V and Category I, 600V.
