The Megger 242003-7 duplex test lead with replaceable needlepoint tips is for use with Megger DLRO10HD, DLRO10, DLRO10X, 247000, 247001, and 247002 digital low-resistance ohmmeters. This 7' (2 m) long duplex test lead measure both current and resistance when taking four-wire resistance measurements, which are more accurate than two-wire resistance measurements and allow low resistance values to be detected. The lead has a maximum test current input of 10 amp. The lead has needlepoint tips on both the current and potential leads that are for use with small and hard-to-reach conductors and can be replaced when they show signs of wear.A test probe, test lead, test prod, or scope probe transmits an electrical signal to a testing device for display and analysis. Designs range from simple test leads with probe-style or clamp-on tips to more complex oscilloscope probes and current detectors. Some test probes, such as basic test leads, have wires with tips for connecting to test equipment. Other test probes, such as voltage detectors, are built into the meter. Depending on what is to be tested, the probe might either be passive or have active parts that require external power to operate. Some probes require contact for testing, while some are capable of taking measurements from a distance. Some also have finger barriers, insulation, or other features to help protect the operator's hand from electrical shock and burns. Test probes are rated according to the amount of voltage, current, temperature, or other input they can measure. When choosing a test probe, the maximum amount of input that the probe can measure should match or exceed both the maximum amount that can be tested by the test equipment, as well as that of the property expected to be present in the application.Megger manufactures equipment for cable fault locating, protective relay testing, telecommunications and data integrity, and power quality testing under multiple brand names, among them Megger, Biddle, States, and AVO. Traditional logic analyzers are known to be slow, complicated and expensive, but the LogicStudio changes all this. Providing timing cursors, history mode, I2C, SPI and UART decoding, powerful triggering and simple navigation the PC is transformed into an all-in-one debug machine. To pan waveforms simply click and drag, use the mouse wheel to zoom in or scan the waveforms with the magnification tool to get a great view of the details. With all the debug tools accessible from the main screen, debugging is simple, efficient and just one mouse click away. LogicStudio offers even more functionality when a WaveJet 300A oscilloscope is connected to the PC. Analog waveforms from the oscilloscope are displayed alongside the digital and serial waveforms captured turning the PC into a mixed signal oscilloscope. This combination of waveforms provides insight that a traditional logic analyzer cannot. Comes with digital leadset (16 channels, 4 ground), micro hooks (set of 20 grippers), USB cable, BNC cable, and welcome card. Software with drivers can be downloaded at the LeCroy web site.

Every ESD safe environment requires wearing a wrist strap and controlled footwear when working on sensitive electronics for assembly or repair. The PTS-879 is the perfect set up for the small repair depot or assembly and repair department for daily testing of those controls. This set includes one each battery operated wrist strap/footwear checker. The checker can be mount on the wall with convenient Velcro supplied, or kept on the table top. Also included is a single foot plate for measuring heel and sole grounders or shoes. The foot plate attaches to the checker using a test lead included. Included is the PAR-809C Resistance Reference for self-certifying the wrist strap/footwear checker instead of sending the meter out for calibration or certification. The PAR-809C can also be used to verify any resistance measuring equipment for accuracy whenever you want. This instrument can save thousands of dollars in outside verification costs. No downtime waiting the instruments to return.

The AEMC 5060 digital megohmmeter with RS-232 interface is an insulation tester with four preset test voltages—500, 1,000, 2,500, and 5,000V—as well as user-adjustable test voltages from 40 to 5,100V for measuring insulation resistance to 10TΩ to indicate the condition of windings or cables in motors, switchgears, electrical installations, and other insulated equipment, and it also measures capacitance to 50μF, leakage current to 3 milliamperes (mA), and AC and DC voltage to 1,000V, indicating when a voltage greater than 25V is detected. The meter can be adjusted to inhibit testing when a voltage of 3, 10, or 20% of test voltage is detected. The R-DAR-PI–DD (resistance-dielectric absorption rate-polarization index-dielectric discharge) function calculates and displays the DAR and the PI, which are resistance measurements over time, and DD, which detects excess discharge current, to provide a detailed indication of insulation condition. The timer function allows timed testing from 1 to 60 minutes. High and low thresholds for insulation and resistance measurements can be set, triggering an alarm when readings fall outside the settings, and will be retained even after the meter is powered off. When measurement is complete, the meter enters voltage detection mode and automatically discharges residual voltage from the circuit under test. For improved accuracy during high-resistance testing, the guard terminal eliminates interference from leakage current. With its RS-232 interface and software, the meter can be used with a PC for configuring the meter, storing and analyzing data, and generating reports. Its document function allows printing of a preformatted report directly to a compatible printer. It has 128kB of memory for storing readings. Built into a double-insulated, dual-walled field case, the meter has a dual 4,000-count LCD with a backlight for visibility in low light. The display shows readings numerically and on a 33-segment bar graph. Insulations meters are commonly used for elect...
