The GPT-9603 is a 3-in-1 model capable of performing AC withstanding, DC withstanding and insulation resistance tests. The GPT-9612 is capable of performing AC withstanding and insulation resistance tests. The GPT-9602 is capable of performing AC and DC withstanding tests, and GPT-9601 is able to perform AC withstanding test. The GPT-9600 Series is equipped with the high-efficiency PWM amplifier, which is the core of the platform design to impede the influence from the input AC voltage fluctuation and ensure a stable voltage output.Following a tidy and easy-to–use design concept, the GPT-9600 Series render users an intuitive operation environment by a simple and clear panel layout, a large LCD display and color LED indicators. The switching power supply, used as a universal input source. The GPT-9600 series, equipped with the same output voltage function as that of all GW Instek Safety Testers, indicates the expected output voltage before high voltage tests are applied. Furthermore, an AUTO mode, including test sequence selections of withstanding-then-insulation or insulation-then-withstanding, is designed for models carrying insulation Resistance test function to reduce the testing time of dual test items.Other functions and features of GPT-9600 include: the zero crossing turn-on operation protects DUT from the impact of surge voltage output, the interlock function safeguards users from the hazardous shock of unintentional touch of the voltage output, a remote output on-off terminal in the front panel and a signal I/O port in the rear panel are provided as the means for remote start/stop control of the safety tester.

The Megger DET4TCR2 four-terminal ground resistance tester with clamps measures earth ground resistance, soil resistivity, and ground voltage to evaluate the safety and integrity of electrical systems. The tester offers a choice of 2-, 3-, or 4- pole ground resistance testing. It can take measurements using the attached rod technique (ART), which tests on-site grounds without requiring the utility connection to be disconnected. It comes with a current clamp for measuring conductor current and electrode resistance and a voltage clamp for stakeless ground measurements, and when used with ART capability, the clamps can be used for taking fall of potential measurements. The clamps have two jaws that can accommodate a conductor up to 2.1" (52 mm) in diameter. The tester has a maximum resistance input of 200,000 ohms for testing the resistivity of a range of soil types. The tester's voltmeter displays the ground voltage during use, which helps increase operator safety. The operator can choose between 25V or 50V test voltage output, allowing the tester to be used in agricultural applications. For accurate readings in noisy environments, the tester can filter out ground voltage noise up to 40 volts (V) peak-to-peak. The DET4TCR2 comes with one 49' (15 m), two 33' (10 m), and one 10' (3 m) test leads, four ground stakes, four right-angle terminal adaptors, a field calibrator for measurement accuracy, and one voltage and one potential clamp. The tester's liquid crystal display (LCD) is backlit for readability in low light. The DET4TCR2 meets International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) safety standard 61010 and is certified for category IV installations up to 100V, which covers measurements at the source of the low-voltage supply, such as electricity meters and overcurrent protection devices. The tester comes in a hard polypropylene case for transport and storage. The case has an ingress protection rating of IP54, meaning it protects against the ingress of dust and splashing water, making it suitable for outdoor use. The...

The Megger 242002 series duplex test lead with C-clamp is for use with Megger DLRO10HD, DLRO10, DLRO10X, 247000, 247001, 247002, 247100, 247101, and BT51 digital low-resistance ohmmeters. This duplex test lead measures both current and resistance when taking four-wire resistance measurements, which are more accurate than two-wire resistance measurements and allow low resistance values to be detected. The lead has a maximum test current input of 10 amp. The C-clamp provides a hands-free connection to a conductor and can accommodate conductors up to 2" (5 cm). The C-clamp directs the current through the clamp and screw and the potential through a four-point anvil that is insulated from the clamp.A test probe, test lead, test prod, or scope probe transmits an electrical signal to a testing device for display and analysis. Designs range from simple test leads with probe-style or clamp-on tips to more complex oscilloscope probes and current detectors. Some test probes, such as basic test leads, have wires with tips for connecting to test equipment. Other test probes, such as voltage detectors, are built into the meter. Depending on what is to be tested, the probe might either be passive or have active parts that require external power to operate. Some probes require contact for testing, while some are capable of taking measurements from a distance. Some also have finger barriers, insulation, or other features to help protect the operator's hand from electrical shock and burns. Test probes are rated according to the amount of voltage, current, temperature, or other input they can measure. When choosing a test probe, the maximum amount of input that the probe can measure should match or exceed both the maximum amount that can be tested by the test equipment, as well as that of the property expected to be present in the application.Megger manufactures equipment for cable fault locating, protective relay testing, telecommunications and data integrity, and power quality testing under multiple brand names, among them Megger...

Available in handheld or benchtop form, they detect electrical problems in equipment, wiring, and power supplies. A variety of probes, clamps, and leads can be used to connect the meter to a circuit or device. Single-function meters, such as battery testers and voltage testers, measure one property of a circuit, and multimeters measure multiple properties. Electrical test meters display information either in analog form using a needle that moves on a calibrated scale, or in digital form using digits or a graphic representation on an LED screen. Meters have electrical properties that are to be measured and the anticipated range of results, and should have a rating that is higher than the maximum value of the anticipated range. An electrical test meter has...
