The Kapro 990 is a high-end professional box-section level unrivalled for strength, endurance, and patented features. It's designed specifically for professional contractors who are looking for extreme toughness and durability. If the level falls, you are able to pick it up, wipe it off, and get straight back to work. The frame will remain straight, vials remain perfectly accurate, and all that's needed is a cloth to wipe it clean. With its Computer Optimized Profile, it retains the original tensile strength (maximum stress a material can withstand) two to five time stronger than any level on the market, making the Zeus 990 the strongest, longest lasting level in the world. In 1997, Kapro introduced the most revolutionary change in the history of levels since their invention in 1661. Before Plumb Site, anyone who needed to level a vertical surface would have to work in an uncomfortable position. That meant neck and eye strain, increasing the potential for inaccurate leveling. Kapro’s Plumb Site Dual-View vial changed this by giving the tradesperson the ability to view plumb from the front, looking straight at the level. The reflection is one-to-one, providing a complete field of vision for a true plumb reading (no parallax error). That’s not just a saving in time and money-it means superior accuracy, and the job made easier. The Kapro 990 has two Plumb Site Dual-View vials (on both ends of the level). The horizontal vial is magnified and illuminated for work in low-light environments. Additional features include air-cushioned shockproof end caps, air-cushioned wall-grip handles, 2 milled read surfaces, non-stick "wipe-clean" Keflon coating and rare-earth magnets. The Zeus 990 is accurate to ± 0.0005" per inch or 0.029º in all level and plumb working positions. That means you can level flat or overhead with the same superior accuracy, and be sure that the Plumb Site vials are equally accurate in any vertical position.
