The Fowler 54-646-400 X-tender Dial Bore Gauge Set has a measurement range of 1.4 to 6" and gradient spacing is 0.0005"/.001mm. A two-point contact system is used to detect geometry problems such as ovality and taper, and carbide-tipped contact points provide extended wear and improved abrasion resistance. The gauge is self-centering and includes an extension holder. This product has 1 year warranty offered by Fowler High Precision. If you experience any problem contact Fowler directly for warranty claims. Bore gauges measure holes, or bores, in a workpiece. They can measure the interior diameter of a hole at any depth, while internal micrometers can only measure to the depth of their teeth. Bore gauges are typically calibrated with a setting ring and come in two types: simple and direct-measuring. Simple bore gauges are used with a caliper to transfer the hole measurement, while the more complex gauges take the measurement directly, and display it through a vernier, dial, or digital display. Bore gauges have a two- or three-point contact, indicating how many points on the gauge head touch the inside of the bore. Two-point contacts are better at measuring ovality, while three-point contacts are used to measure lobing or triangular form error. Pistol-grip bore gauges are used for fast, single-handed operation with repeatable results from one operator to another. Bore gauges can also be used in special applications, such as measuring threads, spline pitch diameters, and deep bores. Fowler, an American company, manufactures inspection and measurement instruments such as electronic indicators, calipers, bore gages, and digital scales. The company, founded in 1946, is headquartered in Newton, MA.  What’s in the box:  ·        Digital Bore Gage (with 2 measuring heads) ·        1 2†extension ·        4 anvil spacers ·        Instructions ·        Fitted case

Not so with the Miter Aid. Simply clip it on with the integral spring clamp, and the Miter Aid provides a slot for your tape measure, perfectly aligned with the inside corner of a 45° miter. No need for an assistant and no need to measure from the one inch mark and subtract. The Miter Aid also provides a handy reveal fence for marking your reveals on the jambs, header and sill. Once the reveals are marked, tap in a pin nail where the inside of the miter will be, hook your tape over the nail, and measure your width and height with ease. If you've ever fumbled with a floppy tape while casing out windows and doors, you'll love the ease and simplicity of the Trim Clip Miter Aid Miter Clips Clamping miters couldn't get much easier than with the Miter Clip. Just position the Miter Clip and squeeze-the reverse cam mechanism applies pressure and holds the miter clamp firmly shut, while the notch keeps the tips of the miters neatly aligned. Once clamped, you can also rotate the clamp handle up and out of the way, providing access so you can nail the miter and move on to the next corner. The metal spurs hold the wood firmly and allow the clamp to be rotated, while leaving minimal marks. Made in the USA.

The Standard Gage 01434004 dual-scale electronic dial indicator has a 25 mm/1" measuring range with 0.001 mm/0.00005" graduations for measuring surface variations. It allows maximum permissible errors of 10 micrometers and repeatability of 5 micrometers for accuracy. It provides direct inch/metric conversion, a preset function, absolute and differential modes for a range of reading options. The stem measures 8 mm in diameter, and it is powered by a CR2032 battery. It comes with a storage case and inspection report.SpecificationsUnitsInch and metric, selectableDisplayLCD with 10.5 mm digit heightMeasuring range25 mm / 1"Graduations0.001 mm / 0.00005"Maximum permissible errors10μRepeatability5μFunctionsPreset, absolute, differentialPowerCR2032 batteryDial indicators are also called dial gauges, probe, and electronic indicators. These precision instruments measure small linear distances and object sizes. The dial magnifies the measurement so that it can be easily read by the human eye. Frequently used in manufacturing, laboratories, and other industrial or mechanical fields, dial indicators are used anywhere a small measurement must be found and recorded or transferred, such as checking the variation in tolerance of a workpiece. Standard dial indicators measure the displacement along the axis of the indicator. Dial test indicators are very similar to dial indicators, except that the axis of measurement is perpendicular to the axis of the indicator. Dial and dial test indicators can be analog, with a mechanical dial, or electronic, with a digital display. Some electronic models transfer the data electronically to a computer for recording and potential manipulation.Standard Gage manufactures precision measuring equipment and metrology hand tools.
