The Mitutoyo 543-502 Absolute Solar Digimatic Indicator is an inch and metric digital indicator with LCD for measuring surface variations that has measurement range of 0.5"/12.7mm and a resolution 0.00005"/0.001mm, a lug back, a 3/8" stem diameter, and a solar-powered battery that provides continuous operation at a lighting level of 40 lux and greater. The battery has a reserve capacity of approximately 3.5 hours when fully charged. The indicator's absolute sensor automatically restores the last origin position when the unit is powered on, aiding multipoint measurement. The lug back designs allows lug mounting from the rear of the indicator. The indicator is Ingress Protection certified IP42 against solid objects over 1mm and direct sprays of water up to 15 degrees from the vertical. It meets ANSI (American National Standards Institute) standards and AGD (American Gage Design) standards for stem diameter. It has an SPC (statistical process control) output by which data may be exported. Indicators are used manufacturing and scientific applications to monitor and measure tolerance. These precision instruments measure small linear distances and object sizes. The dial magnifies the measurement so that it can be easily read by the human eye. Frequently used in manufacturing, laboratories, and other industrial or mechanical fields, dial indicators are used anywhere a small measurement must be found and recorded or transferred, such as checking the variation in tolerance of a workpiece. Standard dial indicators measure the displacement along the axis of the indicator. Dial test indicators are very similar to dial indicators, except that the axis of measurement is perpendicular to the axis of the indicator. Dial and dial...

The Starrett 363 series digital micrometer head has a mechanical digit counter in metric units for ease of reading to 0.01mm, and a knurled ring-type lock nut to hold measurements in place. The micrometer has a plain stem for mounting in a fixture with a split-body clamp or setscrew. The micrometer has a satin chrome rust- and glare-resistant finish. The spindle is made of hardened steel to help provide durability, with a flat measuring face suitable for measurement or use as a stop, and is micro-lapped to help provide accuracy.Micrometers are precision measuring instruments that use a calibrated screw to measure small distances. These measurements are translated into large rotations of the screw that are then able to be read from a scale or a dial. Micrometers are typically used in manufacturing, machining, and mechanical engineering. There are three types of micrometer: outside, inside, and depth. Outside micrometers may also be called micrometer calipers, and are used to measure the length, width, or outside diameter of an object. Inside micrometers are typically used to measure interior diameter, as in a hole. Depth micrometers measure the height, or depth, of any shape that has a step, groove, or slot. Micrometer heads are for mounting in fixtures, where they are typically used for measurement, or as stops or feeds. The L.S. Starrett Company manufactures precision measuring tools, metrology and testing equipment, and saw blade products. The company was founded in 1880 and is headquartered in Athol, MA.

The Mitutoyo 350 series Digimatic micrometer head has a single-value LCD readout that displays in metric units with resolution to 0.001mm. It is available with a plain stem for mounting in a fixture with a split-body clamp or setscrew, or a clamp-nut stem for quick mounting. The micrometer’s electronic microprocessor can hold measurements at any position, convert to absolute value, set a temporary zero position, and return to a true zero reading. It also has a function lock and two presets. The micrometer has Statistical Process Control (SPC) data output to transmit results to a computer or external device. The output jack transmits SPC results to a computer through an interface cable (sold separately). The micrometer has a satin chrome rust-resistant finish. A spindle lock helps hold measurements in place. The micrometer includes, and is powered by, a single SR44 silver oxide battery.Micrometers are precision measuring instruments that use a calibrated screw to measure small distances. The Fowler 52-245 series indicating micrometer with a balanced dial has a flat anvil/spindle pair, a 0.020" measuring range, and 0.00005" graduations and is designed for use as a comparator or Go/No Go (Go/NG) gauge for comparing parts with tight tolerances. The balanced dial has 0.00005" dial graduations and an accuracy of 0.00015". The Vernier scale has 0.001" graduations for precise measurements and wide microfine graduations for ease of reading. After setting the micrometer, the spindle can be locked in place and tolerance indicators set to allow operators to observe at a glance if workpieces fall within tolerance levels, and the zero adjustment on the sleeve ensures accurate measurements. A retracting button close to the operator's hand retracts the anvil 0.060" for quick release and placement of workpieces. Hardened, precision-ground, and carbide-tipped measuring faces are micro-lapped to provide wear resistance and accuracy. All parts subject to wear are hardened for long life and durability. The frame is heat-insulated to provide durability, long life, and resistance to temperature-related expansion and contraction. The micrometer includes a wrench and fitted case. Micrometers 2" and above include a standard. The Fowler 54-860 series digital outside micrometer has a blade-style anvil/spindle pair, a choice of measuring range, and an LCD with an inch/metric switchable resolution for measuring groove diameters of shafts and workpieces with narrow or recessed features. Carbide measuring faces provide wear resistance. A switchable resolution of 0.00005" and 0.001mm provides precise readings. A friction thimble provides smooth and quiet operations, and is suitable for one-handed operation. Friction-style thimbles stop turning when the spindle comes into contact with the workpiece, providing constant force for consistent measurements between operators. The insulated steel housing provides durability and is Ingress Protection (IP) certified IP54 for protection against dust and water. The LCD has a hold feature that saves the reading for recording. The micrometer can be set to take absolute or incremental measurements. Absolute measurements provide the total dimension of the workpiece. Incremental measurements provide a reading that shows the difference between a set standard and workpiece being measured. This type of reading is often used to determine if a workpiece falls within tolerance levels. RS-232 output transfers data to a computer (cable not included). The micrometer requires a Type 357 battery (included), and includes a fitted case. Micrometers 2" and above include a standard.
